Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer

Matt is Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Strive — a leading provider of shareholder-focused investment solutions. Matt oversees Strive's investment philosophy, strategic positions, and product line up. He is Head Portfolio Manager for Strive’s passive equity ETFs and actively managed Fixed Income ETFs.

Matt has been widely published and quoted in major news outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, The Hill, Bloomberg, Daily Caller, and Semafor. He has also appeared on the Fox Business Channel, Bloomberg News, and Hedgeye, among others.

Prior to Strive, Matt was a Portfolio Manager at CalPERS, where he oversaw more than $70 billion in actively managed Fixed Income portfolios. During his 16 years at CalPERs, his portfolios did not underperform their benchmark in any single year.
