The questions in this user-friendly online tool have been carefully designed so each of an organization’s board members can rate the board’s effectiveness in the seven disciplines of governance in less than 20 minutes. Each board member receives a confidential copy of his/her answers when the assessment is complete. When all the board members have completed the assessment, the results for all seven disciplines are summarized in a SAMPLE REPORT (open PDF of report). The GEM Assessment for Boards report is prepared in PDF format so it can be electronically circulated to each board member.
