Strive Names Its First CEO
By Joe Morris
A year after its founding, Strive Asset Management has appointed its first chief executive.
Matt Cole, the firm’s investment chief, was named CEO last month, a spokesperson said.
Cole was formerly an investment manager with the California Public Employees’
Retirement System. He joined Strive soon after it was founded last May as its head of
products and investments and was in February promoted to chief investment officer. He will
retain his responsibilities as investment chief and portfolio manager of the firm’s passive
equity ETFs, as well as lead PM of a suite of forthcoming actively managed fixed-income
ETFs, the spokesperson said.
